About me

I discovered yoga in 2014 after years of dancing, drawn to the physical aspect of the practice, which provided both the discipline and freedom I was looking for. A new world opened up for me. I glimpsed, beyond the asana (physical practice), all that yoga represented, off the mat and in life. Indeed, often reduced to a sequence of movements, this ancient practice is actually much more complete - and complex - and represents a real way of living and being in the world. After obtaining my master's degree in clinical psychology at the University of Lausanne, I trained in Hatha and Yin yoga in the Vikasa school for 550 hours, alongside exceptional teachers with varied approaches. This experience only enriched my practice, my desire to learn and to share. I am convinced of the healing and wellness power of a mind-body approach. If you wish to practice with me, I promise you a safe space in which we will grow and evolve together.

Moana yoga

Moana Yoga was founded on a profound desire to share an authentic yoga practice that extends beyond the mat and into daily life. Meaning ocean in Polynesian, “Moana” symbolizes my deep respect and love for the ocean and its inhabitants. Water has always had the power to bring me into the present moment, it soothes my soul and energizes me.

Our minds are like the surface of the ocean, often turbulent and unsettled. In the midst of this disturbing tumult, we only need to leave the surface and go deeper to find calm and silence. Yoga teaches us to dive deeper and find peace and tranquility within ourselves. When life gets stressful and overwhelming, take a deep breath and turn your attention inward; you’ll discover that stillness always exists within you. Through yoga, we can cultivate self-awareness, strengthen our mind-body connection, and develop the resources to face and navigate the storms of life.

Join me on a journey of self-discovery and transformation as we dive into the depths of yoga and into a more accepting way of being, both on and off the mat.

For every yogi

I deeply believe that yoga is for everybody. Being a good yogi -and human being- isn’t about being able to touch your toes. The goal of yoga is learning how to quiet the mind. Learning to breathe, meditate and be in the present moment is far more advanced than any physical posture. To me, yoga isn’t something you do, but something you are. It’s about being the best version of yourself, do good, be kind, loving and compassionate.

That being said, the physical aspect of yoga (asanas) teaches us discipline, resilience, and how to be strong, yet soft. It can also be challenging and really fun, which is just as important!

My classes are designed to be inclusive and accessible, welcoming students of all levels, abilities, and backgrounds. Whether you're a seasoned yogi or just starting out, you are welcome here. I’ll always offer modifications and possibilities, as I am dedicated to create a supportive and nurturing environment where you can feel comfortable exploring your practice and connecting with your body, mind, and spirit.

So come as you are and experience the transformative power of yoga in a welcoming and inclusive community. I can't wait to practice with you!
